Qualifications

  • Experience using Git, GitLab or equivalent tool.
  • Object oriented programming experience and ability to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that solves business/mission problems.
  • Work closely with software systems, visual simulation, instructor station and training environment teams to integrate new capabilities.
  • Apply established standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
  • Translate high level requirements into detailed software specifications and design documents.
  • Design, code, and unit test C#/C/C++ components for real time or mission critical applications.
  • Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, system verification) and record results.
  • Participate in technical reviews, engineering discussions and demonstrations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, requirements, test plans, and other engineering artifacts.
  • Participate in all software development life cycle phases: requirements analysis, architecture/design, implementation, integration, verification, and hand off to production.
  • Ensure all software deliverables meet required quality and compliance standards.

The Work

This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and has the ability to obtain a security clearance. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, mathematics, or equivalent STEM field.
  • Experience using Git, Gitlab or equivalent tool.
  • Object oriented programming experience.
  • Ability to obtain secret clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and object-oriented design principles. Preferably C# and .Net development experience.
  • Experience developing web applications.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful Web Services/APIs.
  • Experience with Git source control and collaborative development environments.
  • Familiarity with Linux and bash scripting.
  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrated capability to debug complex software architecture.
  • Active Secret Security clearance or higher.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
