Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer with a DevOps focus to help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for big data processing platforms and to deploy containerized applications using Podman.

You’ll work with Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, and React/Redux in a team that analyzes mission-critical data for analysts. The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, 3 years of software development experience, and willingness to obtain AWS/AWS ML/CKAD certifications.

• Willingness to obtain AWS/AWS ML/CKAD certifications listed in the ad.
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, React/Redux, Protobuf, Websockets, WebGL and memory management.

• Willingness to obtain one of the following certifications
  • AWS Certified Developer---Associate

  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, Typescript, React or Redux, Protobuf, Websockets, WebGL, low-level data, and efficient memory mgmt
• Experience with Version Control (Git)
• Interest in working on a small expert team that communicates regularly with analysts and willingness to take on tasks, from requirements gathering and design to deployment

Salary range: $115,000 - $155,000
