Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance a critical mission system used by hundreds of analysts. You will develop using Kotlin and React in a full-stack environment and contribute to rapid patch deployment to an existing platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree).
• 14 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Kotlin, Java, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Mongo, SQL).
• Experience with React and Redux.
• Experience with Version Control (Git, SVN).
• Interest in agile team collaboration with analysts; from requirements to deployment.

The analytics developed and deployed in these ecosystems are critical to ensuring that the data flowing through the agency can be leveraged by analysts to perform mission critical reporting and decision making. You will be working with the newest technology and methodologies for processing mass amounts of data and distilling them into actionable results. Salary range: $180,000 - $225,000
