Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op on the Boeing Platforms Engineering team. You will support the design, development, and maintenance of flight-critical embedded software for commercial aviation and avionics products.

The role offers exposure to real-time embedded software, requirements and verification activities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will gain hands-on experience with RTOS, C, C++, and Python in a structured internship

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline.
• Must be willing to work 40 hours per week.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/ Co-op session. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op for our Boeing Platforms Engineering team located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

What You Will Do

• Support the design, development, and maintenance of flight-critical embedded software for commercial aviation solutions and avionics products

Salary

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
