Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design scalable systems for CloudFront infrastructure, owning the complete technical lifecycle from architecture decisions through implementation and deployment
• Drive technical strategy for initiatives impacting millions of customers globally
• Guide team members through complex technical challenges with hands-on coaching and knowledge sharing
• Conduct design reviews and share best practices to elevate engineering standards
• Identify and implement improvements to CloudFront's security posture and availability, adopting new technologies and tools
• Lead initiatives to strengthen system resilience and reduce operational burden
• Write production code for critical features and infrastructure improvements
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality across the team
