Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is recruiting a Software Development Engineer for the Workshop Studio platform. You will design and deliver features across the full software lifecycle, spanning content catalog, event provisioning, and account fleet management.

The role emphasizes production operations, oncall responsiveness, and collaboration across services to scale AWS demos and experiences. You will contribute to agentic AI systems, own operational health in production, and work on API integrations

Responsibilities

• Build features that cut across WS services from customer requirements through production deployment.
• Participate in the oncall rotation, investigate incidents, identify root causes, and fix them with the team.
• Work on the team's AI agent systems: integrations, data pipelines, agent infrastructure.
• Build APIs for WS's account provisioning to be consumed by other teams.
• Write technical designs, review designs, and incorporate feedback into proposals.
• Reduce operational toil through automation, alarms, and runbooks.
• Help junior engineers grow through code reviews, pairing and onboarding.
