Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring Software Development Engineers to build mission-critical cloud services in secure environments for national security customers. You will own the full lifecycle of your code, collaborate across teams, and advance secure, scalable systems that impact millions of customers.

The ADC SDE team focuses on tooling, automation, and operational excellence, with opportunities to explore GenAI-enabled solutions while navigating security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language (Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript).
• Ability to implement data structures and basic algorithms; object-oriented design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, build, and operate innovative products and services for customers.
• Design and develop scalable cloud-native architectures and microservices in a large distributed environment.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Build and maintain resilient distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective.
• Leverage GenAI and AI-powered tools to enhance development productivity.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Work in an agile environment with CI/CD and on-call responsibilities; monitor and resolve production issues.
