Job summary

Sierra is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate our cloud platforms across AWS and Google Cloud. The role emphasizes production-grade automation, security, reliability, and support for customer-managed deployments.

You will work across multi-tenant regions, implement IaC with Terraform and Kubernetes, and drive deployment improvements, incident response, and observability to ensure scalable, compliant infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on software or infrastructure engineering.
• Production-scale systems experience.
• Strong coding and automation skills using IaC.
• Experience with at least one major cloud.

Responsibilities

Job description

Design, build, and operate Sierra’s cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, including multi-tenant regions, isolated customer environments, and compliant deployments. Improve deployment and release systems, automate infrastructure with production code, strengthen security and reliability, and support customer-managed cloud deployments.

Requirements

Requires 6+ years of hands-on software or infrastructure engineering experience, production-scale systems experience, broad experience with at least one major cloud, and practical experience with Terraform and Kubernetes. Candidates should have strong coding and automation skills, deep expertise in at least one infrastructure layer, and a computer science or related degree or equivalent professional experience.
