Job description

Infrastructure Engineer
What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain our infrastructure on AWS: compute, networking, storage, IAM, monitoring, logging, and security.

Own our infrastructure‑as‑code tooling to codify, version and deploy our infra.

Partner closely with engineers and other stakeholders to understand dependencies, build deployment pipelines, and ensure smooth roll‑outs.

Own prioritization: balance feature delivery, reliability engineering, technical debt and infrastructure evolution — we need someone who can think critically about what matters, sequence work well, and communicate trade‑offs clearly.

Operate and improve reliability of production systems — define SLAs, implement alerting and incident response, contribute to post‑mortems and continuous improvement.

Autonomously discover opportunities to improve our infrastructure and operational posture — bring ideas, take initiative, execute, and iterate.

What We’re Looking For
  • You have deep experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • You’ve used Terraform or Pulumi to build and maintain infrastructure-as-code in a real production environment.
  • You have experience creating CI/CD pipelines (ex: GitHub Actions).
  • You understand reliability engineering — monitoring, alerting, incident response, capacity planning, chaos testing, load work.
  • You have excellent communication skills: you can explain infrastructure, trade‑offs, reliability metrics and deployment processes clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable operating with high autonomy, can prioritize competing demands effectively, and thrive in fast‑changing environments — you are adaptable, proactive, and thoughtful.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a start‑up or fast‑moving environment.
  • Experience working with Elixir and Typescript.
  • Experience with security compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes/EKS.
Benefits
  • Health Insurance - we’ve got you covered head to toe
  • 401k Plan - tomorrow is as important as today
  • HSA/FSA - put tax free dollars to work
  • Commuting - keep your ride smooth and easy
  • Gym/Fitness - sweat it out on us
  • Wellness - a sound mind leads to great work
  • Learning & Subscriptions - stay curious and keep leveling up
  • Laptop/Hardware - new tech for new ideas
  • Unlimited Vacation (we mean it) - work hard and rest well
  • Annual Company Retreat - hanging out together is way more fun in person
