Job summary

Sierra AI in San Francisco is seeking a software infrastructure engineer to own and scale our cloud platform across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You’ll design, build, and operate multi-tenant and single-tenant environments, driving reliability and security at scale.

You’ll ship production Go code to automate infrastructure, reduce toil, and improve developer experience. Collaboration with security and compliance teams is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience operating production systems at scale.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong coding skills with automation focus; Go is a plus.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate Sierra’s cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
• Design, build, and operate multi-tenant and single-tenant environments for customers with regulatory needs.
• Improve deploys and releases across the fleet with tooling and developer experience.
• Build security guardrails for enterprise customers.
• Drive reliability through observability, incident response, and postmortems.
• Write production Go code to automate infrastructure.
