Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Software Engineer, Cloud Enablement to build cloud-facing infrastructure that supports secure, reliable request handling and developer workflows. Remote-US based; collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver enhancements and improve platform usability in production.

You will contribute to open-source software with customer impact, strengthen observability with logs/metrics/traces, and write tests to ensure code quality while driving security integrations and developer

Qualifications

• Proficient in Go or comparable systems programming languages.
• Understanding of service-to-service communication and distributed systems principles.
• Familiarity with security concepts like mTLS, JWT, OIDC, and OAuth.
• Ability to independently tackle a project from problem identification to solution and documentation.
• Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer, Cloud Enablement to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on building and improving cloud-facing infrastructure that supports secure, reliable request handling and developer workflows. You will partner with engineers across teams to deliver scoped enhancements, strengthen observability, and make the platform easier to use in production environments. The position also offers the opportunity to contribute to open-source software that has direct customer impact while working in a collaborative, fast-moving engineering organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually.
