Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies seeks a Software Engineer at our Colorado Springs headquarters to design, implement, and maintain software for missile warning training. You will work on C# and C++ applications within JLVC & HLA environments, applying agile practices and thorough documentation.

The role requires a DoD background, active Secret clearance (TS possible), and strong collaboration with stakeholders to refine requirements and schedules. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with C# .Net (preferred), Java, or C++.
• Development in a DoD environment preferred.
• Active Secret Security Clearance and must be able to obtain Top Secret (TS) clearance.
• Experience with HLA, RTI-s, and FOM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate software into JLVC HLA environment using RTI-s and FOM with C++/C#.
• Collaborate in a small team on C# and C++ applications in a virtual environment.
• Apply agile software development practices including unit testing and CI.
• Develop scalable software solutions ensuring maintainability and architectural conformance.
• Communicate status, discuss architecture, identify risks, and estimate efforts.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and interface specifications.
