Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain software for high-fidelity Missile Warning training, focusing on JLVC HLA integration with RTI-s and FOM using C++ and C#.

You will work in a small team applying agile practices, code reviews, CI, and documentation. A CS degree and experience with C#/.NET, Java or C++ are preferred, plus security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with C# .NET, Java, or C++ in development roles.
• DoD environment experience preferred.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS clearance.
• Experience with HLA, RTI-s, FOM, JLVC and related missile defense domains.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Integrate JLVC HLA using RTI-s and FOM with C++ and C#.
• Develop and integrate C# and C++ applications in a virtual environment.
• Apply agile software practices including unit tests, peer reviews, CI, and design docs.
• Create scalable software solutions with maintainability and architecture adherence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss architecture, risks, and schedules.
• Develop and maintain technical docs and interface specs.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and refine solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional software and system enhancements.
• Contribute to full SDLC from requirements to sustainment.
• Other tasks as needed.
