Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on development and maintenance of software for high fidelity Missile Warning training, with a preference for HLA/RTI-s experience and a DoD background.

Responsibilities include integrating software into JLVC HLA environments, collaborating on C++/C# projects, and applying agile practices across unclassified and classified workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with C# .Net (preferred), Java, or C++.
• Active Secret Security Clearance and must be able to obtain Top Secret (TS) clearance.
• Experience with HLA, RTI-s, and FOM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate software into the JLVC HLA environment using RTI-s and FOM with C++ and C#.
• Collaborate on development and integration of C# and C++ applications in a virtual environment.
• Apply agile software development practices including unit tests, peer reviews, CI, and design docs.
• Develop scalable software solutions using C++ and C#, ensuring maintainability and architecture conformance.
• Communicate with stakeholders to discuss status, architecture decisions, risks, and schedules.
• Assist with documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, interface specs, progress reports, and milestones.
• Engage with customers to refine requirements, propose solutions, and participate in reviews.
