Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Colorado Springs is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and test mission-critical software for defense programs. You will contribute to the full SDLC, write code in JavaScript, Python, Java, and collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineers on integrated solutions.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience, or more, and must be eligible for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience, or Graduate Degree/equivalent with 0–2 years, or 6+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Must be eligible and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test software applications and systems in support of program requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable code using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.
• Participate in software requirements analysis, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of software defects throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including systems, hardware, and test engineering.
• Document software designs, test procedures, and technical specifications in accordance with program standards.
