Job summary

Wellabe, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to re-engineer business operations and improve results. You will evaluate requirements with the product owner and scrum team, drive CI/CD adoption, and advocate for automation.

You will identify technical debt and help prioritize it in the backlog to deliver robust software solutions. You will collaborate across teams, participate in planning, design, and testing, and contribute to project plans while mentoring newer developers.

Qualifications

Five years of experience in programming and systems analysis.
Strong knowledge of agile software development concepts and processes.
Strong Understanding of software development using current industry technologies.
Experience with .NET, COBOL, C#.NET, Visual Studio.NET and related tools.

Responsibilities

Works with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and peer developers to craft technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
Analyzes technical system problems, designs and implements effective solutions.
Participates in sprint planning; provides estimates and owns development stories.
Supports solution design considering risks, performance, UX, and testability.
Handles end-to-end development including coding, testing, debugging, and source control.
