Job summary

Wellabe is seeking a Software Engineer to re-engineer business operations and improve results. You will model technical requirements with the product owner and scrum team, drive CI/CD adoption, and champion automation across processes.

You will identify technical debt with the product owner, prioritize backlog, and craft solutions with Scrum Masters and peers. The role emphasizes end-to-end development, reviews, and ongoing learning within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field. Combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Five years of programming and systems analysis experience.
• Proficiency with agile software development concepts and processes.
• Strong understanding of modern software development using current industry technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owner and scrum team to model technical requirements from business needs.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines and automation of processes.
• Identify technical debt with product owner and prioritize backlog items.
• Craft technical solutions with Scrum Masters, PO, and developers.
• Perform design, coding, unit testing, and integration testing; manage source control.
