Job summary

Kunai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to partner with a financial services client to build APIs that enable money movement using Kotlin. You will design and implement scalable services in AWS, working with PostgreSQL/DynamoDB and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Kotlin, APIs, and cloud databases is essential, with Java/Python a plus.

The role involves collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, secure backend services and contribute to modern fintech solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in Kotlin.
• Experience building and implementing APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Experience working within an AWS environmentKnowledgeable in CI/CD processes and tools

Responsibilities

Salary

$155,000 – $180,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for PSL Developers (Specialist Consultants). Actual compensation may vary depending on relevant factors, including experience, skills, location, and client billing.
