Kunai seeks an experienced backend engineer in the United States to build and maintain full-stack backend services for card network integration using Java and PostgreSQL, hosted on OpenShift. You will design event-driven architectures with Kafka and integrate business rules engines like Drools.

You will own AWS IAM, S3, and CloudFront configurations, and manage end-to-end OAuth2/OIDC identity flows. The role emphasizes performance testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipeline development to ensure robust
