Job summary

Ollama is seeking engineers to enhance its core user experience across the desktop app, API, and command line interface. You will ship end-to-end features that empower millions of developers to access open models with a strong blend of engineering and design.

You’ll work across the stack, from frontend TypeScript/React to backend Go, and you’ll craft polished product surfaces and integrations with coding tools to improve developer workflows.

About the role

In this role, you’ll work on Ollama’s core user experience: the CLI, Ollama’s app and first-class integrations for Ollama. This involves a strong mix of engineering and design: you'll build new interfaces, ship features end-to-end, and shape how millions of developers experience Ollama.
