Job summary

Ollama is seeking engineers to enhance its core user experience across the desktop app, API, and command line interface. You will ship end-to-end features that empower millions of developers to access open models with a strong blend of engineering and design.

You’ll work across the stack, from frontend TypeScript/React to backend Go, and you’ll craft polished product surfaces and integrations with coding tools to improve developer workflows.

Qualifications

• Great product built that real people use.
• Strong engineering with a design sensibility.
• Able to ship across the stack: TypeScript/React frontend, Go backend, and native apps where it matters.
• Experience with developer tools, AI products, or desktop apps is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Build and polish the Ollama desktop app, API, and CLI — the daily driver for millions of developers.
• Design and implement new product surfaces for Ollama.
• Implement and improve integrations with coding tools, IDEs and more.
