Job Title: Software Engineer - AI

Location: 100% REMOTE

Duration: 12+ months

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop an internal AI platform for SPRiTE's GPT, aimed at streamlining feedback and review processes. This platform will integrate with our HR system, enabling managers and employees to explore career frameworks and utilize data for queries. The project is expected to save Dropbox over 1,000 hours annually and enhance the quality of performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to build a user-facing enterprise product powered by large language models (LLMs).
• Implement authentication and data indexing within Workday.
• Enhance UI and UX for better usability.
• Recommend appropriate technology stack and integration methods.
• Develop and maintain front-end components using React and TypeScript, ensuring accessibility and adherence to design standards.
• Support integration with Client APIs, Workday APIs, and other internal services.
• Partner with backend engineers to visualize data, including summaries and metadata.
• Contribute to design systems and UI libraries, focusing on responsiveness and accessibility.
• Track and manage bugs and enhancements using tools like Asana or Jira in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a software engineer with back-end expertise, particularly with Python and external APIs.
• Technical stack includes Python/Postgres with FastAPI, OAuth, Workday API, OpenAI API, Llama Index, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, RDS for PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Workday integrations or similar HR tech systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ChatGPT API is a plus.
• Contributions to performance feedback, people enablement, or communication tools are advantageous.
• Exposure to Workday APIs, HRIS data models, or enterprise workflow tools like ServiceNow, Asana, or Greenhouse.
