About the Role

A leading data activation platform is seeking a founding Machine Learning Engineer to build an intelligence layer that enables companies to leverage customer data for automated, intelligent decision-making. This role involves developing solutions from the ground up to help businesses determine which customers to message, what content to send, and optimal timing—transforming manual processes into data-driven automation.

Responsibilities include collaborating with customers, defining problems, building predictive models, and developing machine learning infrastructure. The work directly impacts how hundreds of companies activate and personalize customer engagement.

• Responsibilities Develop personalization and product recommendation systems to deliver the most relevant content to users.
• Build automated experimentation frameworks to optimize customer messaging strategies.
• Create predictive audience models to identify users likely to convert, churn, or take key actions.
• Leverage advances in large language models (LLMs) to help marketers generate compelling text, images, and creatives.
• Design and implement budget optimization tools to maximize marketing ROI and minimize customer acquisition costs.
• Partner with customers to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Requirements 4–8 years of experience in machine learning and software development.
• Proven experience in modeling algorithms and/or productionizing machine learning models (please specify area of focus).
• Strong background in predictive modeling, personalization, and experimentation.
• Experience building and scaling ML infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
