level is seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing team. This generalist role spans backend, frontend, and integrations, with ownership of end-to-end projects and customer-facing engagements.

Bring 7+ years, design robust systems using AWS, Python, FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB. We value pragmatism, clear communication, and ownership. HQ is NYC with a distributed team, and you’ll help shape product direction at an early-stage fintech startup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong technical depth and ability to design systems.
• Generalist across stack with multi-part ownership.
• Pragmatic shipping without sacrificing quality.
• Excellent communication of tradeoffs.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the stack: backend, frontend, integrations, and infrastructure.
