We’re searching for a hands‑on Software Engineer who thrives on building real systems and is excited to own the development of AI‑powered tools end to end. This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, automation, and AI/LLM integration, supporting teams that rely on fast, reliable, and thoughtfully engineered internal applications.
As part of a small, high-impact engineering group, you will design and ship production‑ready systems that leverage modern AI capabilities to streamline research, data workflows, and decision‑making across the organization. This is an engineering‑first position suited for someone who loves building internal products, designing workflows, and integrating advanced tooling‑while having the freedom and ownership to influence architecture and execution.
What You’ll Do
- Build internal applications and backend services that integrate LLM APIs and emerging AI technologies
- Design and maintain automation workflows, data pipelines, and system integrations
- Develop infrastructure for AI‑powered tools, including APIs, vector search components, monitoring frameworks, and chat interfaces
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand real‑world workflows and translate them into reliable, scalable engineering solutions
- Own projects end‑to‑end-from design and development to testing, deployment, and iteration
- Improve and support existing AI‑enabled systems used across multiple business functions
What We’re Looking For
- 2-5+ years of experience as a software engineer, building backend systems or internal tools end‑to‑end, and coming from a top tech company, fintech, bank, or quant fund/firm.
- Experience developing and deploying GenAI / ML technology – e.g. agentic AI, model development / training / tuning, RL, NLP, GPU / TPU low‑level engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience building APIs, services, or data‑driven applications
- Familiarity with REST, databases, and automation workflows
- Experience with and passion fo modern AI tooling
- Ability to work directly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Comfort operating in fast‑paced environments where ownership and autonomy are expected
- Background in financial services, quantitative environments, or data‑intensive operations is a plus
Why This Role Is Unique
- High ownership and visibility
- Meaningful impact on AI adoption and internal productivity
- Opportunity to build systems used daily across technical and operational teams
- Engineering‑focused culture valuing practicality, quality, and delivery
If you’re an engineer who loves building real products and is excited about shaping how AI tooling is used in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment, we’d love to connect.
