Job summary

KLA is seeking a Software Engineer to work on the Review/Inspection product division in Milpitas, CA. You will acquire technical knowledge, champion product division technologies, and contribute to improvements using AI-driven workflows. The role requires strong OO fundamentals and experience with C#/Java/C++.

You will interact across levels of staff and management, participate in requirements reviews, and help ensure designs are robust, scalable, and aligned with product goals.

Qualifications

• Strong in object-oriented fundamentals and design patterns.
• Experience in object-oriented programming (C#, Java, C++, etc.).
• Experience in Test Driven Development.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of software.
• Be the technology evangelist for the product division.
• Contribute to improvements through AI agents/workflows.
• Tackle complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of factors.
• Ensure designs, code, and unit tests are robust, future-proof and scalable.
• Understand and implement architectural improvements on existing software.
• Participate in requirements definition and review processes.
• Provide technical assessment of impact of changes to product requirements.
• Assist in estimation by providing technical input to the project plan.
