Google Cloud’s software engineers build next‑generation tech that helps billions connect and learn. We seek engineers who bring ideas across AI, distributed systems, and large‑scale design, to the GDC AI Applications and Agents team in Sunnyvale.

As a Software Engineer, you will design and deploy AI features on GDC, enable customers to create and manage Agentic AI apps, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to push technology forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• Experience building and deploying generative AI agents.
• Experience with machine learning, AI, and platform development.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred; 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test features for user-facing AI applications built on GDC, responding to customer demands and strategic opportunities.
• Implement components and services for the GDC Agent Platform, focusing on enabling customers to create, deploy, and manage Agentic AI applications efficiently.
• Contribute to improving the AI Developer Experience on GDC by enhancing tools, streamlining workflows, and producing clear documentation and code examples.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX designers, and other engineering teams within GDC and Google AI to ensure seamless integration and delivery of AI solutions.
