Job summary

Siemens EDA in Burlington, MA is seeking a compiler software engineer to develop and improve compiler systems that analyze customer circuit designs and map them to emulator resources. The role emphasizes clock/data network analysis, partitioning, placement, and logic synthesis.

You will implement new compiler functionality, support existing features, and write system-level tests using software simulation. Collaboration with software and hardware teams across multiple sites is required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS or CE required.
• 2–5 years of team-based experience in large C++ apps.
• Experience with algorithms and data structures.
• EDA experience, Linux, testing, HDL, and simulation tools advantageous.

Job description

Requirements:

Requires a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2–5 years of team-based experience developing large C++ applications. Candidates should demonstrate algorithm and data structure design skills, understand gate-level digital logic, and be able to work both collaboratively and independently; EDA experience, Linux, testing, HDL, simulation tools, and scripting are advantageous.
