Job summary

Siemens EDA in Burlington, MA is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer to contribute to the emulator compiler, primarily in C++ on Linux. You will analyze customer designs, map them to emulator resources, and work with Veloce hardware teams across locations.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of industry software development experience in large C++ applications.
• Demonstrated experience with algorithm and data structure design.
• Understanding of gate level digital logic design.
• Excel both in a team-oriented development and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the compiler portion that analyzes customer designs to map onto emulator resources.
• Analyze clock and data networks, partitioning, placement and synthesis for mapping designs onto emulator hardware.
• Write system-level tests and develop new testing methods; collaborate with other software teams and hardware teams.
