Siemens EDA (Siemens Digital Industries Software) is seeking a software engineer to develop and enhance a C++ compiler that analyzes customer circuit designs and maps them to emulator resources, including clock and data network analysis.

You will implement compiler functionality, write system-level tests using software simulation, develop testing methods, and collaborate with software and hardware teams across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in CS or CE required.
• 0–3 years of team-based experience developing large C++ applications.
• Experience with algorithms and data structures; gate-level digital logic knowledge is a plus.
• EDA, Linux, testing, HDL, simulation, and scripting experience desirable.

Develop and improve C++ compiler software that analyzes customer circuit designs and maps them to emulator resources, including clock and data network analysis, partitioning, placement, and logic synthesis. Implement and support compiler functionality, write system-level tests using software simulation, develop testing methods, and collaborate with software and hardware teams across multiple sites.

Requirements: A bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required, along with 0–3 years of team-based experience developing large C++ applications. Candidates should demonstrate algorithm and data structure design skills, understand gate-level digital logic, and be able to work independently and collaboratively; EDA, Linux, testing, HDL, simulation, and scripting experience are desirable.
