Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to join our growing engineering team, working on secure, high-quality software for the Pharmaceutical TMF domain. This remote role is based in Poland, with an optional office base in Lublin.

You will fix moderately complex bugs, build new features, and write reliable unit tests, using .NET/C#, REST, and DI, while collaborating with testers, DevOps, and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft .NET / C#.
• Experience with unit testing, dependency injection, and REST web services.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL or MySQL.
• Exposure to web UI development such as React, Angular or jQuery.
• Confidence using AI-assisted coding tools with a critical eye on output quality and security.

Responsibilities

• Fixing moderately complex bugs in familiar code and tackling basic issues in unfamiliar code.
• Building new functionality independently with architectural guidance where needed.
• Developing with .NET and C#, applying SOLID principles, design patterns and dependency injection.
• Writing reliable unit tests and contributing to strong engineering quality standards.
• Using AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency while critically reviewing code for quality, security and correctness.
• Collaborating with testers and DevOps, contributing to sprint planning, and helping solve support issues at the root cause.
• Mentoring more junior developers and supporting high coding standards across the team.
• Building your knowledge of the Pharmaceutical TMF domain and applying it in real solutions for clients.

Software Engineer 2 Remote - Poland Optional office base in Lublin We’re looking for a Software Engineer 2 to join our growing engineering team in Poland and help build secure, high-quality software for the Pharmaceutical Trial Master File (TMF) industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer who is ready to take the next step - someone who can work independently, contribute to solution design, and help shape how modern software is built in a fast-moving, innovative environment. You’ll be part of a new team creating software for a specialist pharmaceutical domain, with the chance to use modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude as part of everyday delivery.
