Job summary

HOLT CAT in San Antonio seeks an IT Integration Specialist to map processes, design solutions, and implement automations that align with business goals. You will test applications, communicate with diverse audiences, and collaborate with PMs, scrum masters, and development teams to manage risk and ensure smooth adoption of new solutions.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in IT or related field, 4+ years in enterprise integration, experience with ESB, SOAP/REST APIs, Azure, and data storage

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with 4 years' experience in integration platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise integration infrastructure and SLA monitoring.
  • Hands-on with ESB and messaging systems.
  • Knowledge of Azure Service Bus and data storage options.
  • Develop APIs using SOAP/REST and data formats like XML/JSON.
  • Basic scripting and programming skills; familiarity with ESB tooling.
  • Experience with source control and build automation; willing to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Map process flows, draft technical requirements, design solution framework, and build solutions with automations.
  • Test developed applications to ensure high-quality production delivery.
  • Tailor communication for diverse audiences across stakeholders and tech teams.
  • Collaborate with PMs, Scrum Masters, Solution Delivery Analysts, Product Managers, and Dev Teams to manage risk.
  • Foster change management between IT and business partners and promote adoption of new solutions.
  • Promote Holt's Values Based Leadership and ensure alignment with Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Drive productivity and teamwork to deliver Legendary Customer Service (LCS) in a matrix environment.
  • Recommend process improvements; document changes and SOPs; manage change impact.
  • Leverage data-driven analysis to inform decisions and mitigate risks.
  • Support training for business users and IT teams on supported applications.

Job Responsibilities

Be responsible for mapping process flows, creating technical requirements, designing the solution framework, and building solutions along with any necessary automations in a format that is understandable to both stakeholders and technology teams. Conduct thorough testing of the developed application to ensure that a high-quality product is delivered to production. Tailor communication to suit different audiences and bridge gaps between various stakeholder groups. Closely collaborate with stakeholders, including Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Solution Delivery Analysts, Product Managers, and Development Teams, to support risk management activities related to project scope. Establish a relationship built on trust, transparency, and collaboration with both business partners and IT teams to ensure alignment and success. Take an emissary approach in fostering change management between our IT and business partners, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new solutions, and promoting a forward-thinking and adaptive culture. Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission. Develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS) Works in a matrix environment and foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines comfortably. Recommends method and procedural changes; defines and documents improvements. Fosters change management in a delicate manner to ensure business and IT partners are comforted through transformation and delivery. Leverages data-driven problem-solving techniques and analytical rigor to complete, document, speaks to risk analysis, and offers solutions to help stakeholders make informed decisions. Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, and monitored. Participates in the quality assurance process to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized. Assists in maintaining documentation and standard-operating procedures (SOPs) related to usage of software products. Attends IT Change Control & Prioritization meetings and helps in the discovery and estimating of impact of change on end user experiences. Researches and identifies industry best practices and trends to increase effectiveness of products and systems. Assists in providing training and guidance to business users and IT teams on supported applications. Must be performed in Texas and non-Texas residents must be willing to relocate. Always works safely and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, plus 4 years of experience with enterprise integration platforms, SQL and relational databases.
  • Established enterprise integration infrastructure, supporting ESB, messaging and SLA monitoring tools and support on call duties.
  • Messaging infrastructure, preferably Azure Service Bus with storage options such as Azure Blobs or Data Lake.
  • ETL and Web Services based integrations with expert level knowledge of developing APIs using SOAP and REST architecture styles and data interchange formats like XML, JSON, etc.
  • Basic programming skills such as JavaScript and shell scripting.
  • Source control and build technologies (e.g., Azure DevOps, GIT).
  • Up to 15% domestic travel required.
