Job Summary

The Solution Delivery Analyst serves as a vital business representative for various initiatives, ensuring that stakeholder satisfaction and business value are realized through the delivery of technology solutions. This role requires a deep sense of curiosity to understand the current state and work objectively to develop clear solution requirements through influence, facilitation, and communication. The individual is expected to map process flows, capture requirements, create user stories, document findings in a format understandable to both stakeholders and technology teams, and thoroughly test the developed application to ensure a high‑quality product is released to production. Adaptability in messaging to suit the audience and bridging the communication gap between different stakeholder groups is essential. This role involves working closely with stakeholders such as Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and Development Teams to support risk management activities related to project or effort scope. Driving consensus toward a solution and facilitating communication among all parties is critical. Establishing a close relationship built on trust, transparency, and collaboration with both business partners and IT teams is paramount to ensuring alignment and success. The Solution Delivery Analyst will take an emissary approach in fostering change management between our IT and business partners, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new solutions.

Essential Functions
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Captures business processes, requirements, capabilities, features, and data requirements for new and existing software product solutions.
  • Gathers data, creates process flow diagrams/process maps/functional design documents, captures design interfaces, identifies root cause, provides solid solutions, analyzes inputs and outputs to arrive at logical conclusions.
  • Translates business requirements into user stories for technical teams, ensures test cases are written and executed to meet the business needs.
  • Creates readable and functional documentation which may include JAD, screen designs, report layouts, features, stories, use cases, and data models mapping inputs, outputs, interfaces, etc.
  • Drives continuous improvements for standards and processes.
  • Recommends method and procedural changes; defines and documents improvements.
  • Synthesizes information gathered from multiple sources, assisting in the identification of symptoms and root causes; works with IT and business leadership to develop alternative solutions and address the organizational pain within resource and schedule constraints.
  • Facilitates face‑to‑face encounters with business partners regularly to gather requirements, align on priority, discuss requirements, demo completed work, and solicit and embrace feedback.
  • Drives, influences, and leads team members in designing and defining solutions through ideation, discovery, initiation, and business requirements phases of an initiative.
  • Leads change management in a delicate manner to ensure business and IT partners are comforted through transformation and delivery.
  • Partners with the Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Product Managers through the entire software development life cycle to ensure clear objectives are defined and documented, defines a clear definition of done, ensures deliverables meet requirements, and user stories are closed out appropriately.
  • Leverages data‑driven problem‑solving techniques and analytical rigor to complete, document, speak to risk analysis, and influence solutions to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Identifies risks associated with business activities to ensure they are effectively measured and monitored.
  • Partners with IT teams to ensure clear understanding of business requirements.
  • Works with training team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to help develop a change management/training plan.
  • Leads business process modeling and generates applicable functional testing scenarios for the technical teams.
  • Leads the quality assurance process to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
  • Creates and maintains documentation and standard‑operating procedures (SOPs) related to usage of software products. Supports IT Change Control & Prioritization meetings and helps in the discovery and estimating of impact of change on end‑user experiences.
  • Researches, identifies, and influences industry best practices and trends to increase effectiveness of products and systems.
  • Provides training and guidance, as needed, to business users and IT teams on supported applications.
  • Reviews and identifies system specifications and user requirements to develop test cases.
  • Creates detailed test cases covering various scenarios and edge cases.
  • Manually or automatically executes test cases and records results.
  • Creates automated test cases and plans as needed.
  • Identifies and reports bugs with clear descriptions and necessary details to the development team.
  • Verifies that bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
  • Ensures code releases do not introduce production issues or breaking changes.
  • Conducts testing after software deployment to ensure quality in the live environment.
  • Develops and maintains clear and comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Always works safely and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Specifications / Focus Area:

  • Data SDA: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Snowflake, Power Platform specific knowledge, skill, and ability.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents related to Salesforce Sales & Service and Marketing Cloud.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Provide support for Salesforce Sales & Service and Marketing Cloud enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Proficiency in SQL to query and manipulate data from databases.

  • Relevant certifications preferred such as PMP or CBAP, SAFe certification or experience working with SAFe/Agile methodology, MB‑300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations, MB‑901: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Travel: Up to 15% and overnight travel may be expected; valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements: Extended periods in a stationary position; occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.

Work Environment: Primarily a professional office environment; this role constantly uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
