Job summary

Captivation is seeking software developers who can deliver high-quality solutions while supporting a mission to protect our country. The role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance, 7+ years of SWE experience on comparable projects, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Candidates should have strong Java development skills and experience with Confluence, JIRA, and modern software processes. Direct-hire only, Maryland area preferred.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with a favorable Polygraph; must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or four years of SWE experience substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
• Minimum Qualifications: Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
