Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid level software engineer in Maryland with experience in MapReduce, Java, Hadoop and Accumulo to support national security missions.

Must hold Top Secret/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship; fourteen years SWE experience preferred; bachelor's degree required; direct hire only. Competitive benefits include 401k, HSA, extensive PTO, and comprehensive insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Security clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph; must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Fourteen (14) years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
