Job summary

Radiance Technologies, located in the Dayton, OH area, seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to build web-based tools for NASIC. The role emphasizes clean UI, good typography, and intuitive user workflows demonstrated via portfolio or open-source work.

You will design and implement new capabilities, fix issues, integrate with external services, and participate in code reviews, while communicating progress with customers. Travel to client events may be required.

Qualifications

The Full Stack Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on creating web-based tools aimed at decreasing user friction and improving usability of existing complex Modeling and Simulation systems. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and an eye for clean layouts, typography, and intuitive user workflows via personal portfolio or open-source contributions.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant STEM field
• Ability to organize and clearly communicate complex technical details
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with server-side languages, preference towards Python and/or C++
• Strong preference with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with version control software (ex Git)
• Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as Jira
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Desired Experience

• Experience with configuring and deploying web applications using
• Active TS/SCI
• Kubernetes, OKD, and/or HELM
• Experience of UI design using React
• Experience creating dashboards to simplify data presentation and navigation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins
• Experience containerizing (Docker or Podman) web applications, with 2 or more communicating containers
• Experience utilizing relational databases to handle large and complex datasets
• Able to demonstrate experience via personal portfolio or open-source contributions
