Job summary

TEKsystems in Columbus, OH seeks a versatile Software Engineer to work across frontend, backend, cloud and deployment work in a large enterprise setting. You will move between React, Java, Node.js and AWS to deliver customer-facing experiences.

This contract-to-hire role is fully onsite in Columbus. You will contribute to migration projects, CI/CD, Terraform and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, with benefits consistent with TEKsystems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in full-stack development using React, Java and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Terraform automation is a plus.
• Ability to work across frontend, backend and deployment tasks in enterprise environments.

Description

Software Engineer will work across the full application stack and should be comfortable moving between frontend, backend, cloud and deployment work rather than operating within a narrowly defined UI or backend role in a large enterprise environment.

Day-to-day Work Will Include

• Developing customer-facing experiences using React and JavaScript
• Building and enhancing backend services using Java and Node.js
• Supporting the continued migration of web pages from the external vendor to the internally developed platform
• Building and enhancing capabilities surrounding the content management system
• Developing, deploying and maintaining applications within AWS
• Supporting AWS environment buildouts and ongoing cloud maintenance
• Supporting infrastructure/environment automation using Terraform
• Using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, troubleshooting, testing and development across unfamiliar portions of the stack

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
