Job Summary

The Enterprise Applications team is seeking a Software Engineer to help build high-visibility,

enterprise capabilities that support our diverse software landscape. While this role spans full

stack technologies, there is a strong emphasis on back-end development, particularly with

.NET. As a key contributor to our enterprise technology platform, you'll help drive business

value through modern architectures and emerging technologies. You'll be part of a collaborative

team that values craftsmanship, innovation, and the creation of best-in-class experiences for

This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days/week). Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

.NET & REST expertise

• microservices experience.
• Familiarity with API specification and practices.
• Automated unit, integration, and regression testing.
• CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy and release code to the cloud.
• Continuous advocacy of technical craftsmanship and preferred/best practices.
• Review and oversight of peer proposals and solutions.

Practical Experience With One Or More Of The Following:

• Enterprise AI/LLM Engineering (Prompt Engineering, Semantic Kernel, MCP, RAG, etc.)
• Cloud experience (Microsoft Azure preferred).
• Event driven design. (Azure Service Bus / NServiceBus)

Salary Statement

The salary range for this position is $101,000 - $147,000/yr

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
