SAIC is seeking a Software Developer for a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure NASIS application is properly configured and documented to enable, sustain, and maintain interfaces with external commands and systems.
• Test and implement new technologies following standardized procedures.
• Review existing programs, make refinements, reduce operating time, and improve techniques.
• Test changes for usability prior to deployment.
• Research, analyze, design, develop, document, test, and deploy modifications.
• Implement policies to track server trends and monitor to prevent outages.
• Resolve technical/data exchange issues with scanning and document recognition software.
• Work as a team member on NASIS projects.
• Handle program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, mathematics, statistics, business, engineering, or physical sciences with at least 2 years of experience; 4 years of experience may substitute for degree.

Skills

• Experience in Java application development, Spring Frameworks, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Development experience with Hibernate and SQL.
• Knowledge of Spring Framework, software development lifecycle, and Java applications.
• Experience with SCRUM Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in Java (Oracle Java 8), familiarity with Apache Tomcat, XML, JSP, REST, and EAI patterns.
• Experience with SQL Server and complex business requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of other integration tools is a plus.

Security Clearance

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance before hire.
