This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in cloud architecture, data pipelines, and Python‑based development, who’s excited to own infrastructure that powers real‑time financial modeling and intelligent automation.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale cloud‑native microservices on AWS and other cloud platforms
• Design and maintain data pipelines to support AI‑driven analytics and modeling
• Own infrastructure‑as‑code systems using Terraform
• Develop secure, high‑performance API endpoints for data retrieval and model outputs
• Implement and manage CI/CD workflows using GitLab Actions
• Collaborate across engineering and product teams to improve scalability and performance
• Contribute to a modern backend architecture that spans multi‑cloud environments

What They’re Looking For

• Proven years of backend/software engineering experience in high growth startups
• A BS or MS in Computer Science
• Strong Python skills, with proven experience in data engineering and cloud‑native backend systems
• Deep expertise with AWS, Terraform, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, data transformation, and API development
• A problem‑solver who thrives in fast‑moving environments and writes maintainable, secure code

Nice to Have

• Exposure to machine learning, particularly around model deployment or data preparation
• Experience with GCP and multi‑cloud systems
• Previous startup or early‑stage company experience
• AWS technical certifications
