Job summary

nineDots.io in Stamford, CT is seeking a full-stack engineer to own and evolve investment research and risk management software. You will build full-stack web apps using TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with Python scripting and SQL queries underpinning data workflows.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

• Maintain and improve full-stack applications supporting investment research and risk management

• Take responsibility across design, development, deployment and production support

What You'll Bring

• 2-7 years' professional full-stack software development experience
• Strong TypeScript and React experience, ideally including Next.js
• Practical experience reading and writing Python for scripting or automation
• Strong relational database and SQL skills
• Experience owning production software across both frontend and backend development
• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a GPA above 3.0
• Willingness to work onsite in Stamford five days per week

Nice to Have

• Experience with tRPC, Prisma or a comparable modern TypeScript stack
• Exposure to OpenAI, Anthropic or other LLM APIs
• Experience building agentic workflows or AI-enabled automation
• AWS, Bash, CI/CD or Airflow experience
• A background or demonstrated interest in finance, fintech, investment research or quantitative systems
