Job summary

Wise Insight in Stamford, CT is seeking a full-time, on-site Software Engineer to build and maintain production-grade applications for investment research and internal processes.

You will use TypeScript and modern full-stack technologies within the T3 ecosystem, write Python for automation, design relational databases, and craft production-quality SQL while participating in the full SDLC from design to deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern full-stack development.
• Hands-on Python for scripting/automation.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based environments.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and production-quality SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack software applications supporting investment research and internal business processes
• Develop production-quality applications using TypeScript and modern full-stack technologies within the T3 ecosystem

Requirements

• 2 to 7 years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern full-stack development
• Strong hands-on Python experience with ability to read and write Python for scripting and automation
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-based application environments
• Strong understanding of relational databases
• Experience writing production-quality SQL
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, testing, debugging, and system design
• Strong problem-solving skills and genuine curiosity about technology and data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI engineering, LLM APIs, or generative AI applications
• Experience building AI-powered automations or agentic workflows
• Experience working with financial markets, investing, fintech, quantitative research, or financial technology
