Job summary

Trimble MAPS is seeking a Data Integration Software Engineer to build and enhance high-availability web services and cloud-based applications powering transportation networks. You will own design, testing, and delivery of features that improve spatial data integration and performance.

In this role, you will collaborate with agile teams, implement robust data processing pipelines, and apply SOLID principles to deliver reliable software.

In this role, you will hold direct ownership over improving high-availability web applications and cloud services, directly influencing spatial technology and experimenting with new ideas in a supportive, outcome-driven environment.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain high-availability web services and interactive web applications.
• Build and launch innovative product features that drive commercial value and performance across mapping systems.
• Automate integration testing, build pipelines, and deployment workflows to maintain exceptional software standards.
• Collaborate closely with agile team members to experiment, iterate rapidly, and solve complex technical challenges.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or a related technical degree field.
• Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills rooted in solid object-oriented and SOLID principles.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing complex data structures and algorithms to solve real-world problems.

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity or experience with AWS or similar public cloud platform services.
• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks and modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.
