You'll partner closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, reliable technology solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support applications and backend services using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Microsoft technologies.
• Develop and maintain APIs, services, and integrations between internal systems and third-party mortgage, settlement, and financial services platforms.
• Partner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and engineering peers to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable long‑term solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code while participating in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership of projects and assignments from design through deployment and ongoing support.
• Contribute to a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment focused on innovation, quality, accountability, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience developing backend applications, APIs, web services, and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or similar technologies, to improve productivity while maintaining strong engineering standards, code quality, and security practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud‑based application development.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience within the mortgage, lending, title, settlement, or financial services industry.
• Experience developing, integrating with, or supporting the Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Experience working with third‑party vendor integrations and API‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps principles.
