General Motors Corporation in Milford, Michigan is hiring a Software Engineer to design and implement controls software for GM’s current and next generation vehicle portfolio. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to translate functional requirements into software strategies, coding in C and Simulink, and validating via virtual systems and bench tests.

Competenze

• 1 year of experience in: C, Simulink, Stateflow, GIT, plant modeling; SIL/HIL development; embedded software and controls development.

Work closely with multi-disciplined engineering teams to interpret functional requirements to translate and implement appropriate controls and software strategies. Create and integrate software in hand-coded C, occasionally in MATLAB Simulink models. Create or modify Unit test cases and Multicomponent test cases to ensure thorough software testing. Leverage GM’s virtual systems, benches, and vehicles to verify and validate systems behaviors and performance. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.**REQUIREMENTS**: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study. Three (3) years of experience as a Project Engineer, Program Analyst, or related occupation. OR Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study. One (1) year of experience as a Project Engineer, Program Analyst, or related occupation.
