Job summary

Envision Technology, LLC. in Manchester, NH, is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, integrate and test complex electro-optical systems for defense applications.

You will collaborate across engineering disciplines, develop embedded C/C++ code and Windows GUIs, and support the product lifecycle from concept to production. Familiarity with RTOS, version control, and hardware interfaces is valued.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 1–3 years of software experience.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ in an embedded environment.
• Windows development in C# is a plus.
• Familiar with Git and related source control tools.
• Understanding of RTOS concepts and development.
• Experience with I2C, UART, USB, MIPI preferred.
• Read and understand electronics schematics to bring‑up hardware designs.
• Embedded Linux development experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to move up to 25 pounds.

Position Summary

• Understanding of Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) concepts and development.
• Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, UART, USB, MIPI is preferred.
• Be able to read and understand electronics schematics in order bring-up and troubleshoot new hardware designs is a plus.
• Embedded Linux development experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to interact productively in a team environment.
• Ability to move up to 25 pounds.
