Job summary

Storm3, a fast-growing startup in Los Angeles, is seeking a Staff/Principal Engineer to lead the Engineering team from the front, working side by side with the CTO.

You will own the backend across platform, infra, AI/ML and data, mentor the team, define the roadmap with executives, and build HIPAA compliant agentic workflows while scaling as we rapidly grow.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in backend, platform, or full-stack roles.
• Fluent across the full stack with polyglot skills.
• 2+ years working with LLMs or agentic AI.
• Startup experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on backend, platform, infra, AI/ML, and data work.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to set the product roadmap.
• Develop HIPAA compliant agentic workflows.
• Mentor and scale the engineering team alongside the CTO.

Join a fast-growing startup that is building the leading AI-powered care navigation system for patients. They've recently raised funding from top VCs and are looking to bring on a Staff/Principal Engineer to lead the Engineering team from the front, working side by side with the CTO.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on across their entire backend (platform, infra, AI/ML, data etc.)
• Work closely with executive leadership to set the product roadmap
• Develop HIPPA compliant agentic workflows
• Work with executive leadership to mentor & scale the Engineering team

Requirements

• 8+ years Backend/Platform/Full-Stack experience
• Software polyglot, fluent across the entire stack
• 2+ years' experience with LLMs or Agentic AI required
• Startup experience strongly preferred
