Job summary

Optimus Technology, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business founded in 2010, is seeking a versatile software engineer for Task Order work. The role requires strong Java development (Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring Boot), C#/.NET, JavaScript, and Docker expertise, with familiarity across Linux and Windows environments.

You will build and run Docker images, craft Dockerfiles, and work within Git/Gradle-driven pipelines, supporting cross-platform packaging and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience programming with Java and related frameworks (Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring Boot).
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and JavaScript.
• Experience with development and version control tools (Git, Gradle).
• Cross-platform development across Linux and Windows.
• Scripting in Linux and Windows environments (Bash, PowerShell).
• Docker fundamentals: build/run images, Dockerfiles, Docker Compose.

Responsibilities

• Developing web applications and services using Java, C#, and JS.
• Managing containerized workloads with Docker and related tooling.
• Collaborating across OS platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
