Job summary

Optimus Technology, Inc. is seeking engineers to support software development and full life cycle testing of mission systems, including test plan design, development and maintenance, test environments and automated test capabilities.

Responsibilities include integration & testing, acceptance testing, and reporting issues through resolution, with exposure to Linux systems and network components; strong Python-based automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with software development lifecycle test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Proficient in Python-based test automation and testing across performance, UI, and security.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and network components.

• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and processes.
• Create and maintain test environments and automated test capabilities.
• Perform Integration & Testing and Acceptance Testing, report issues until resolution.

Job description

Experience required to support software development and full life cycle testing of mission systems including the design, development, and maintenance of test plans/cases/processes, the creation and maintenance of test environments and automated test capabilities, the performance of Integration & Testing and Acceptance Testing, and the reporting and tracking of problems through their resolution.

Knowledge of test automation using Python, performance/load/stress testing, data interfacetesting, user interface testing, security testing, code coverage tools, and systems integrationtesting. Experience related to the installation, configuration, management, and enhancement of software applications, LINUX systems, and connected network components.
