Job Summary

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team, reviews and tests components, resolves issues, and employs appropriate software design methodologies. Provides input to system design for hardware/software trade‑offs and reuse.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus two years of software engineering experience; or four years of experience can substitute for the degree.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.

Experience & Skills

• Analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debugging existing software and correcting defects.
• Recommending improvements to documentation and development process standards.
• Designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add new features.
• Integrating existing software into new or modified systems.
• Developing simple data queries for databases or repositories.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range is $77,000–$163,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise. Nightwing offers medical, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, PTO, holidays, and additional insurances.
